With more than 15 years experience in Immigration law, we are well positioned to take care of your family immigration matters. On a case-by-case basis, we are able to accept fiance and spousal petitions, adjustment of status, naturalizations as well as other humanitarian forms of relief.

We have successfully handled many family law matters and now use this experience focus on uniting Indiana families through adoptions.
Small Business Start-up
Focusing on our community has lead us to help assist small business owners in registering with the State of Indiana, drafting Operating Agreements and other small business needs.

After a decade of serving the local refugee population, Attorney Desiree saw a need to expand services throughout the United States and in 2016, Gustafson Law was born. We have over 15 years of Immigration, Adoption and Small Business experience that we would love to put to work for you!

Desiree Koger-Gustafson, owner and Managing Attorney of Gustafson Law, LLC, is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana but serves the entire U.S. and worldwide with her virtual practice.
In 2004, after beginning a career as an Executive Director for a Long term care organization, Desiree chose the path of becoming a lawyer and decided to attend Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. In 2008, Desiree graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. In 2009 Desiree was licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
Immediately after law school Desiree started working as an attorney at a non-profit legal clinic serving lower income members of the community with their legal needs in a variety of areas.
Desiree focuses on immigration and adoption law as well as assisting small businesses with their more specialized need. Desiree, and her firm, value building quality relationships with clients and walks side by side with them through their legal journey.
Desiree is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Allen County Bar Association, and is a Board Member for the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, serving on the Grants Committee. She attends Central Ministries with her husband and four boys.
In her free time, Desiree enjoys watching her boys’ sporting events and participating in group fitness activities. Desiree is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer so holistically serving the health of the community is of the utmost importance.
