Desiree Koger-Gustafson, Esq. Owner/Managing Attorney

Having worked in many different environments, with many different bosses, it has been the greatest gift to be able to build a firm that not only values its employees but allows me to build a relationship with my clients. I love personal stories and delight in being able assist in such a vital way. Immigration and legal matters can be so confusing. Being able to solve problems that allow people to thrive; work, buy a house, send their kids to college, start a business, or adopt a child, fuels me. These are the areas of law we limit our practice to. You are not a number here and it is my goal to help you feel a part of the Gustafson Law family. Our referral rates are evidence of how we value our clients.

Reina Lopetegui, Billingual Legal Assistant

My name is Reina Lopetegui. I’m a refugee from Cuba. I immigrated to the United States in 2009 when I was 15 years old. I started working as a legal assistant for an immigration attorney in 2013, where I realized how much I liked the legal field. Inspired and motivated by the immigration attorney I was working for, I decided to go to college, and I earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Western Kentucky University in 2018. I currently volunteer for a non-profit immigration organization to help low-income families. As an immigrant myself, I am passionate about helping other immigrants achieve their dreams in this great land of opportunities.
